When we consider creating a life we love, consider the Scriptures tell us, “When we know the truth, it sets us free.” Freedom is a state of being able to act or choose without constraint. It is the ability to live one's life without being subject to external control or interference.
There are many different types of freedom, including:
- Physical freedom: The ability to move around and do what you want without being physically restricted.
- Mental freedom: The ability to think and believe what you want without being constrained by external forces.
- Emotional freedom: The ability to feel and express your emotions without being controlled by them.
- Spiritual freedom: The ability to connect with your inner self and experience a sense of peace and well-being.
Freedom is essential for a fulfilling and meaningful life. It allows us to grow and develop as individuals, and to make our own choices about how we want to live.
How can you begin to increase freedom in your life:
- Set boundaries: Learn to say no to things that you don't want to do.
- Take risks: Step outside of your comfort zone and try new things.
- Be yourself: Don't be afraid to express your true self, even if it's different from what others expect.
- Live in the present moment: Don't dwell on the past or worry about the future. Focus on enjoying the present moment.
- Be grateful: Take time each day to appreciate the good things in your life.
- Help others: Give back to your community and make a difference in the world.
Freedom enters in where Truth becomes the anchor! Remember it's when we KNOW the Truth that we are set free! This is why God encourages us in His Word to renew our minds and if we choose that as our daily discipline, this becomes a rhythm. Our lifelong journey to wholeness is not designed to be lived in isolation. Although life can be lonely at times, we are never alone. Jesus promised to NEVER leave us or forsake us and He is faithful to provide others who reflect His love throughout our lives. We have found a fulfilling life is one that is lived in a life-giving community with others. On that note, we encourage our listeners to grab a friend and invite them to join the conversation with you!
Hang out with us as we share insight around our personal lives, offer imagery to envision a different future for yourself, and challenge you through many lenses to see the endless possibilities God offers. As promised in previous episodes, we also go into Erwin Raphael McManus's new book, Mind Shift "It Doesn't Take A Genius To Think Like One" The profound and accessible wisdom and guidance he provides is unprecedented. We encourage you to grab a copy of his book today to follow along with us in this series!
